Electrical Engineer

Plans and designs the manufacture and installation of electric power equipment and facilities

Determines the type and arrangement of circuits, transformers, circuit-breakers, transmission lines and other equipment

Interprets specifications, drawings, standards and regulations relating to electric power equipment and use

Directly reports to the Head Engineer about the progress of installed electric systems, repairs etc.
Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.

At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Strategic Material Sourcing Manager

Position: Strategic Material Sourcing Manager – Semiconductors

Reporting To: Executive Director, Worldwide Procurement

Job Summary: The Strategic Sourcing Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of effective material category strategies across the appropriate lines of function or the entire company leveraging the buying power of several locations and the corporate purchase base. Researches, identifies and analyzes current and emerging procurement trends, develops a deep understanding of market conditions, develops proposed supply chain solutions focusing on total cost of ownership and Supplier Diversity.

The Strategic Sourcing Manager negotiates major and/or global agreements which include negotiating prices, terms and conditions, and warranties in support of those agreements. The Strategic Sourcing Manager builds and leverages strong working relationships with internal customers and key suppliers to assure cost, quality, and delivery targets are met. Additionally, they create and communicate a vision of potential opportunities with enthusiasm, and rallies stakeholder support for that vision by motivating others.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

Negotiate with and develop strategic suppliers to ensure continuous improvement in quality, delivery, cost and support.
Study market trends, evaluate suppliers, and recommend sources of supply. Will provide strategic insight on commodity trends and any required actions
Develops strategies for assigned commodities to include spend analysis, market and geographic considerations, strategic importance, etc
Will determine appropriate procurement methods, and will negotiate and implement supplier agreements consistent with quality, delivery, and cost requirements.
Manage and develop existing suppliers through performance feedback
Develops cross-functional/site teams to understand company-wide needs and evaluate suppliers
Lead CRP’s using recognized Project Management Methodologies
Implement Commodity Benchmark Reporting for assigned materials
Implement a continuous improvement cycle to realize year on year incremental improvements and cost savings
Drives for early Strategic Sourcing and Supplier involvement in the project lifecycle to better influence strategy and results
Recognized as the Center of Knowledge for respective spend category, and shares this information with key stakeholders to enable more effective planning and execution
Develop Supplier Portal for KPI’s and information sharing
Requirements Education and Experience

· Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering or Equivalent is required

· >5 years experience in strategic sourcing and purchasing experience in the semiconductor industry , preferably related to supporting either component factories and wafer foundries with high technical content

Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record in cost reduction and control
Motivated ,Customer focused, be a self-starter, results oriented and possess strong verbal and written communications skills
Some demonstrated experience successfully managing projects desirable
Strong computer skills, including Excel , PowerPoint , Sharepoint a plus
Be able to effectively plan and prioritize work, and be adaptable to change
Ability to read and interpret contract language
· CPM or APICS certification desirable
